I realized that I’ve just talked about my workouts without putting anything down about my fitness goal. My goal is to be stronger, fitter, and have less body fat by Halloween. I want monster arms and shoulders, a six pack, and a firmer ass. I need to be stronger for my own reasons, but also because I’m starting my brother’s martial arts system and I want to be fit enough to keep up. Plus, my fitness will help sell what I do as well as help sell the martial arts and self-defense I’m doing with my brother.
Another big deal is that I have a photo shoot coming up in November some time and I want to look good. This has turned out to be the most motivating thing. I don’t want to puss out on the photo shoot because it’s with a person I consider a good friend, but I don’t want to be insecure because I look like crap either. I want to feel good during the shoot and I want it to go well. I would like it to go well so we can do more experiments of this type to see if we can communicate something we’d both like to express. Right now, my condition is such that I would not pose for pictures. So in the name of art and rollicking good times, my condition must improve lol
My Workout Today
Arms again since I missed an arm workout this week.
Biceps:
3 sets - barbell bicep curls
3 sets - heavier dumbbell bicep curls
3 sets - alternating incline dumbbell curls
Adding shoulders in this time:
3 sets - dumbbell shoulder press
3 sets - dumbbell shoulder flies (for lack of a better name lol)
3 sets - dumbbell shoulder lifts (front lifts)
Woo! Getting pretty pooped now. Shoulder work really takes it out of me! And I’m really starving. I haven’t had anything since breakfast except two rice cakes and a Jones Pure Cane Soda. The workout is depleting what I have so before I’m even finished my stomach is grinding away. Ugh!
Triceps:
3 sets - Standing tricep kickbacks w/dumbbells
3 sets - Incline tricep presses w/dumbbells
